Although I know little about Sterling Silver Spoons, my Grandfather and Grandmother collected a lot of them in the early 20th Century. Fortunately, my Grandmother chronicled in a diary, among other things, their acquisition of these Silver spoons. Excerpt from diary (notable because they see President Taft). Monday March 18th 1912. Left Boston for Manchester N. Arriving here the same day, today being the 19th President Taft came through Manchester, the crowds gathered along the main streets to welcome him, he passed the Hotel twice, and I could see him very distinct both times from our window. It measures approximately 5.000 inches and weighs 14 grams. But you likely can. Cannot find any souvenir spoon similar to this design and subject.
