




Gorham Souvenir Iced Tea Straw Gilt Bowl Sterling Silver 1901. Pan-American Exposition Lemonade Sipper 1901 with a struck bowl having a hollow ball tipped tube used as a straw extending below the back of the bowl. The ornate gilt bowl has a Repousse Buffalo head atop a Union USA Shield , with Pan American Exposition and Buffalo 1901 on banners below. There has been no record found for this item in the Gorham Archives. The reverse of the tube bears the Gorham marks and sterling as well as the letters H and M, plus the hour glass date mark for 1901. Number 789 and a D rarity in McGlothlin’s Gorham Spoons. This very hard to find spoon is 6 3/4 long and weighs 12.5 grams. The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering. We will be happy to assist in this.
