Beautiful, high quality and very rare enameled sterling silver spoon from Kentucky dating back to early years around 1900 featuring on the front detailed images. On the front of the handle very detailed image of state seal with the wording UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL. Below horse, then barrel (of Kentucky bourbon or whiskey, I guess) and KENTUCKY down the wavy handle. In the bowl it has embossed very detailed enameled scene of a log house, men, dogs, rosters, chickens, etc… The writing is OLD KENTUCKY HOME. On the back it is marked STERLING and has makers marking of S for Shepard Mfg. It is 3 3/4 and in great condition.
