Top of Handle features image of the Suffrage Logo of a Woman (used on 1926 suffrage campaign) standing holding a flag reading “FORWARD”. Handle also features “COLORADO”, and part of the State Seal. The axe symbolizes authority and leadership. Below the fasces is heraldic shield bearing across the top with three snow capped mountains. The lower half of the shield has two miner’s tools, the pick and sledge hammer. Handle also features a Columbine Flower, the State Flower of Colorado. Bowl features an embossed image of and “STATE CAPITOL DENVER COLORADO”. Back of Handle features an image of a donkey (mule or burro) and an Indian Chief with Feather headdress. Sterling Silver by Hirsch & Oppenheimer. Measures about 6 inches. Weighs about 31.7 grams. Very nice Estate condition (see photos).
