The handle has the original state seal/motto of an eagle holding a banner inscribed,’Here We Rest’. This seal was introduced after the Civil War during the period known as Reconstruction, probably c1875 & was replaced about 50 years later.

Sterling silver spoon with Navajo whirling logs design. They use it in jewelry, weaving, and sand painting. This handmade spoon is 5 3/4 long. The bowl is 1 3/16 wide. Crossed arrows are also stamped in the bowl.
This spoon was just polished. It cleaned up nicely but is older and has minor surface scratches but in otherwise good condition. Spoon is gorgeous and in great condition for age honestly.
