Sterling Silver Key West oversea railroad spoon. Commemorates the Key West extension. This monumental work was done by Henry Flagler. Spoon measure approx 4. Embossed with the detailed image of the train crossing towards Key west and above the train reads “Over Sea Railroad” and below “Key West, FLA” Also features emblem of a palm tree, pineapple, tee pee, canoe, axe and a fishing pole. This spoon is in VERY GOOD condition. It is heavily toned but there appears to be ZERO signs of use. It is believed to be an unique piece.
The bowl shows the Brooklyn Bridge with boats in the water and the handle shows Theodore Roosevelt on horseback front and back views! The spoon’s bowl reads Brooklyn Bridge see photos! It is marked STERLING and S in a circle marking for Shepard Mfg.
1972 Franklin Mint Sterling Silver 12 Days Of Christmas Spoons in Original Box. Box has discoloration and a musty odor from storage in a basement with the previous owner. Spoons have some surface scratching and tarnishing. Spoons weigh about 30 grams each for an approximate total weight 360 grams.
