Canyon Diablo Skyline of Railroad Train with coal car marked “1251” and engine cab marked “AT & SF”. Bowl embossed with a bridge spanned across the canyon; marked “CANYON DIABLO, Arizona” 5.5 spoon. Reverse: On handle mountains and pine trees are depicted; plain bowl. Watson & Newell Co. Attleboro, MA (formed in 1894) and became known as Watson Company in 1919. Canyon Diablo, a ghost town, is on the Navajo Reservation in Coconino County, AZ. The town originated about 1882, due to construction delays attributed to the Atlantic and Pacific Railroad (later the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe) ordering the wrong span for the 255 foot depth across the canyon.
