For sale is this rare spoon in excellent condition with a little bit of tarnish. The 2 very white spots in the bowl are reflections from the overhead light or the camera. The bowl depicts in great detail Black Americans in a cotton field. The front of the handle shows the Robert E Lee monument, and General Jackson/Old Hickory, who had a major role in defending New Orleans from the British during the war of 1812. The end of the front handle has the title “Mayoralty City” with an alligator & figures. The back of the handle shows the capital city, a creole cabin, and the Jackson Monument. The back of the spoon is engraved Gertrude. I have the mark for Mechanics and is marked sterling. Thank you for your interest. I will attempt to resolve the issue.
