The bowl contains the raised relief of MASON & MARKET STREETS, and the words AFTER GREAT SAN FRANCISCO FIRE, APRIL 18TH 1906. The back of the handle says GREAT SAN FRANCISCO FIRE, APRIL 18TH, 1906, and has the hallmark for Watson & Newell’s first mark, used from 1880 to about 1915.
