The stem and handle are engraved with elaborate design including warring goddess on end with “Eureka” above and man holding pick (from gold mining era) below. Stem is engraved with CALIFORNIA. Back of handle is decorated with a female figure holding a balance scale with the a spread wing eagle with shield. Measures 5 1/2 long.
