Antique Gorham rare cast sterling silver. 925, souvenir spoon, in the rare 1891 Old Orchard Beach, Maine pattern. Decor consists of Aesthetic shell, & seaweed decor on the handle, & a beach scene in the bowl. The spoon is NOT monogrammed. Is marked with the Gorham Lion Anchor G mark, Sterling, G. Twambly (retailer from ME) (the E to his last name was added later so this could possibly be from the first 3 dozen made), measures approximately 5 3/4 inches long, & weighs. The spoon is in very good antique estate condition. NO DENTS OR REPAIRS. THERE IS SOME LIGHT SCRATCHING & WEAR, WHICH IS CONSISTENT WITH THE AGE OF THE PIECE & NORMAL USAGE.
