This is a really lovely, very hard-to-find fancy antique sterling silver serving piece in the very popular Violet pattern, introduced by Wallace in 1904. An old Wallace catalog page calls it a Jelly Knife. Length: about 8-1/8 long. Maker’s marks: “Sterling”, a T in a circle, along with the old RW&S stag head hallmark used by Wallace, a popular American company. Weight: It weighs about 47 grams. Engraving: Maybe an “F” on the front of the handle. Please see all photos and feel free to ask any questions. Any white, dark or other off-color spots are camera flash or reflection. Please bear in mind that color can vary from monitor to monitor. Be sure to add me to your favorites list. This item is in the category “Antiques\Silver\Sterling Silver (.925)\Flatware & Silverware”.
