








This is a beautiful antique sterling silver serving set. It was made by John Wendt of New York and is in the Moresque pattern from 1870. The slice piece is almost a foot long, 11-1/2 and is hand-engraved with an intricate design on the blade. The fork is about 10 long and is also hand-engraved on the tines. Maker’s marks: “Patent Sterling” on the back of each piece. Weight: The slice weighs a hefty 143.5 grams and the fork is about 105.5 grams. Engraving: As described above. Condition: Very good, no problems, minor light surface wear and a bit of normal tarnish from age. Any white, dark or other off-color spots are camera flash or reflection.
