You are viewing a wonderful antique sterling silver spoon, featuring the likeness of George Washington on the front of the bowl and his birth and death dates on the back. It measures 5 3/8 inches in length, and the bowl of the spoon is 1 1/2 inches in diameter. It has been engraved under his image with L. 1891″ and has “Sterling die-stamped on the stem. I think the maker is Galt, but the name does not appear anywhere on the spoon. What a great addition to your collection!
