The Actors Fund held in 1892 at Madison Square Garden a charity event. To sell as a souvenir, Gorham Silver Company made a sterling silver spoon designed by acclaimed actress of the time May Robson. The faces are famous actors and actresses at the time. On the front panel are Charlotte Cushman, Mary Anderson, Clara Morris, Agnes Ethel and Lotta Crabtree. On the back panel are Edwin Forrest, Edwin Booth, Edward L. Davenport, Joseph Jefferson and William “Billy” J. The bowl says “Park Theater, New York” and shows the Park Theater with visitors out in front. The back of the spoon reads “Actors Fund Fair – May 2nd to 7th, 1892″.
