Presented is a beautiful set of six apostle spoons with a gold light gold wash interior wide bowl marked for English sterling silver made in London in 1876-7 by Chas. I have posted pictures of my research on these marks in the photos above. This set come in its own presentation, prot. Ctive & storage case marked Marshal & Sons of Edinburgh lined in purple velvet and satin. They are in great condition with only some minor loss of gold wash and some fine scratches from gentle use and care and no dents, dings or monogram. It is an excellent set for the collector of silver or religious acumen and makes a great gift for all occasions. I have an interesting assortment of items listed so please look at my other auctions. Measure: 6 7/8 long, 1 7/8 inches wide across bowl. Weight : 31 ounces on my postal scale or 878 grams. Silver Alone – 15 ounces or 425 grams.
