Summit of Pikes Peak Finial is two-sided figural of a Native Indian Warrior with spear and tomahawk and on reverse a Native Indian Woman with Papoose with swastika on woman; embossed bowl with depiction of Summit of Pike’s Peak; above depiction in bowl SUMMIT OF PIKES PEAK, COLORADO, Alt. ” Spoon is 6″ long.. Reverse: Marked “STERLING”; NS Co. Newburyport Silver Company founded by 7 Newburyport men in 1902; produced sterling products, such as flatware and candlesticks. In 1904 production was moved to Keene NH; by 1908 the company employed 40 craftsmen and about a dozen salesmen. The company went out of business in 1915.
